This has been an
incredible year. So much has happened since we got back from the
unveiling in Vegas, I don't know where to begin. I guess I should
start with the biggest. In case any of you have not yet heard the
news, Classic
Components announced that ESPN has added The Metric
Revolution Motorcycle Build-Off to their new
ESPN2 Garage line-up. The show is part of 14 programs that
complete their ESPN2 Garage block of programming.
Sam Nehme, Jaxon Fyffe, Adam Canni and The McCoy's tore up
Biketoberfest and left a path of destruction at The Boardwalk show
and
Rat's Hole taking top honors and many trophies with their
build-off bikes. It didn't stop there, Viking Motorsports
and Jaxon again walk away with more first place trophies at
The Big
Twin Customs Invitational on Dec 3rd, in Las Vegas.
Dean Kawczak and C&S Customs stole the cover of
Super Streetbike
magazine, Nehme's "Nehmesis" was a featured bike on the
cover of
RoadBike magazine and Custom Sportbike Concepts robbed the
cover of Two Wheel Tuner magazine with his Metric Revolution
Yamaha R1.
If you didn't get a chance to see "Nehmesis" in Vegas or at
Biketoberfest, the bike will be travelling with the
Cycle
World International Motorcycle Show Tour.
Bike Week this year will see it's first venue dedicated to the
Metric enthusiast. The
Metric Experience will be a 4 day event with plenty going
on. Together with Wyotech College we will bring to
Destination Daytona a huge Custom Sportbike and Cruiser Bike Show.
The first annual
Metric Experience Bike Show will be open to both Metric
and American motorcycles, with a big showing expected from
Sportbike builders from across the country. We have also
teamed up with www.BikeWeek.com
to help find Miss Bike Week 2007. Any of you out there have
a hottie in mind.
Fill out the application and send it back to the folks at
www.Bikeweek.com
Hang on for
the ride,
